The 2021 Census found 44 people in Nannup speaking a language other than English at home, a small community in which German is the largest group. Most other languages here have fewer than one speaker per 100 residents. Nationally, a language other than English is at least twice as common.
German, Punjabi and Italian are the three largest.
The share for the City of Perth is more than twice as high as Nannup's. In the Western Australia table, Nannup is 90th of 137.

2.9% is the share of all residents who reported a language other than English. The 199 who didn't answer aren't counted as speakers. If they were, the share would be 15.7%; among respondents alone it's 3.3%.
