Phone interpreting with Connecting Now

LEXIGO doesn't deliver interpreting. When a client needs an interpreter, we refer them to Connecting Now, our referral partner. Connecting Now provides on-demand phone and video interpreting across Australia and New Zealand, and runs that service directly with the client. We still handle your translation and multicultural communication.

Why doesn't LEXIGO deliver interpreting itself?

Our work is written and produced: translation, multicultural communication, research and the technology behind them. Interpreting is a live, spoken service with its own workforce, booking systems and availability needs, and it's a specialism in its own right.

Rather than stretch into a service we don't run, we refer interpreting to a provider that does. The quality standards on each side stay clear, and you deal with a specialist for each kind of work.

What does Connecting Now provide?

Connecting Now is an on-demand phone and video interpreting provider based in Melbourne, working across Australia and New Zealand. It also sets up multilingual phone menus for organisations that take calls in more than one language.

Languages, availability, service terms and pricing are set by Connecting Now, so check the details with them directly.

How does a referral work?

Tell us you need an interpreter when you contact LEXIGO, and we'll put you in touch with Connecting Now. You can also contact Connecting Now directly.

From there, the interpreting service is arranged and delivered by Connecting Now under its own terms.

Can LEXIGO still help with the rest of the project?

Yes. If your interpreting need sits inside a wider program, such as translated patient information, multilingual campaign materials or community research, LEXIGO handles that work and Connecting Now handles the interpreting. Each provider is accountable for its own part, so it's clear who to contact about what.
