Pyrenees, Victoria
Pyrenees is overwhelmingly English-speaking: at the 2021 Census, 1.7 per cent of residents used another language at home, most often French. Every language besides English has fewer speakers than one resident in 100. Pyrenees' share is less than half the share for the City of Melbourne.
French leads a short list of small communities.
Across Victoria, a language other than English is at least twice as common. In Victoria, 76 councils rank above Pyrenees.
Same method throughout, so the gap between the bars is the real gap.

Each suburb links to its own page, with the languages spoken there.
Data: ABS Census of Population and Housing 2021, language used at home, summed from Statistical Area Level 2 to council. Changes are against the 2016 Census.
How the headline share is counted: 1.7% is residents who named a language other than English, as a share of everyone. Another 867 didn't answer the question. Counting them as speaking another language would give 14.0%; leaving them out of the population altogether gives 1.9%. Higher figures quoted elsewhere usually come from one of those.
People with no usual address fall outside any suburb, which is why the national figure here is a fraction under the ABS one. The council figures aren't affected.
