The client

Services Australia delivers a broad range of advice, payments and services through Centrelink, Medicare, my Gov and Child Support.

The organisation is committed to providing consistent and accurate information to every Australian, including those from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds. For many years, LEXIGO has partnered with Services Australia to support all individuals, families and communities to achieve self-sufficiency.

The brief

As a long-term translation partner of Services Australia, we’ve translated various materials regularly over 10+ years. The translation work is varied and diverse, in an average of 20 languages.

We regularly translate posters, fact sheets, newsletters, eDMs and more. LEXIGO has also prepared voice overs on many essential topics, including child care subsidies, financial information and COVID-19.

The solution

By finding efficiencies across the translation process, we provide Services Australia with one end-to-end translation solution. This in turn ensures maximum value for money and appropriate resourcing of taxpayer funds.

Our translation work delivers tailored messages that align with the needs and values of multicultural communities. It also supports the Access and Equity Policy, ensuring diversity is not a barrier for people engaging with government funded services.

The result

The longevity of our partnership with Services Australia is a testament to a strong working relationship. Clear processes and open communication ensure a common understanding.

We support the goals of Services Australia, developing a deeper understanding of both content and context as we go, over many years. An end-to-end tech-enabled service approach is key to communicating consistently and accurately across many languages.
