What we do and the sectors we work with

We translate documents, digital content, video, and communications for government, healthcare, enterprise, and community organisations across Australia.

Every project is handled by a native speaker of the target language with subject-matter expertise in your sector — whether that's health, legal, financial, or public-facing communications.

We work across 171 languages, from high-volume programs to single certified documents.

Government + Public Sector

LEXIGO provides translation services to federal departments, state agencies, local councils, and statutory authorities across Australia. We translate policy documents, public consultation materials, service information, multilingual signage, ministerial communications, and community engagement campaigns into the languages your constituents actually speak.

Every project meets access and equity requirements and aligns with standing procurement frameworks. We hold ISO 17100, ISO 27001, and ISO 9001 certifications, and our translators include NAATI-certified professionals where required. With more than fifteen years working alongside Australian government clients, we understand the compliance, accountability, and audit trail requirements that public sector translation demands.

Healthcare

LEXIGO works with public and private hospitals, Primary Health Networks, public health units, aged care providers, and allied health organisations. Our medical translation services cover patient information sheets, consent forms, clinical trial documentation, public health campaigns, discharge instructions, and multilingual resources for culturally and linguistically diverse patient populations.

Clinical accuracy is non-negotiable. Translations are completed by translators with subject-matter expertise in healthcare and reviewed against ISO 17100 quality standards, with NAATI-certified translators assigned where required for legal or regulatory purposes. Translation memory built across your projects ensures terminology stays consistent across every patient touchpoint, from intake forms to public health messaging.

Legal

LEXIGO provides certified legal translation services to courts, tribunals, law firms, regulatory bodies, and corporate legal teams. We translate contracts, court documents, witness statements, evidentiary materials, immigration documentation, regulatory filings, and legal correspondence with the precision and confidentiality the work requires.

Every legal translation is handled under documented chain of custody and ISO 27001-certified information security protocols. NAATI-certified translators are assigned for documents requiring official certification, and our project workflows include the audit trail and version control that legal proceedings demand. We work to court deadlines and understand that confidentiality, accuracy, and professional accountability are inseparable in legal work.

Community

LEXIGO supports not-for-profits, settlement services, disability providers, family services, and community-controlled organisations with in-language resources for the communities you serve. We translate program materials, client information, multilingual outreach campaigns, plain-language guides, intake forms, and the everyday communications that connect your services to the people who need them.

Our translators come from the communities your clients are part of, bringing lived cultural understanding alongside linguistic accuracy. We work at budgets that reflect the funding realities of the sector, with translation memory carried forward across every project so each new piece of work costs less than the last. After fifteen years working with Australian community organisations, we know what it takes to make information genuinely accessible.

Finance

LEXIGO translates for banks, insurers, superannuation funds, wealth managers, and fintech companies operating across multilingual markets. Our work covers product disclosure statements, customer communications, regulatory filings, terms and conditions, multilingual onboarding flows, and the compliance documentation that financial services regulation demands.

Every translation is reviewed against ISO 17100 standards and handled under ISO 27001 information security protocols. We understand the disclosure obligations, plain-language requirements, and consumer protection frameworks that govern financial services communications in Australia and internationally. Translation memory and approved terminology databases ensure regulated language stays consistent across every product, channel, and market.

Education

LEXIGO works with universities, TAFEs, independent schools, public school systems, and state education departments. We translate enrolment materials, course information, student handbooks, parent and family communications, scholarship documentation, recruitment campaigns for international students, and the multicultural engagement resources that connect education providers to diverse communities.

Our translators bring subject-matter expertise across the education sector, from early childhood through to higher education and vocational training. NAATI certification is available where required for academic or immigration documentation, and our translation memory builds consistency across every cohort, intake, and academic year. We support both inbound communications for international students and outbound resources for multilingual local communities.

Technology

LEXIGO translates and localises for SaaS platforms, digital products, and technology companies scaling across languages and markets. We handle product UI strings, onboarding flows, help documentation, marketing websites, app store listings, knowledge bases, and the customer-facing content that determines how a product lands in a new market.

Localisation is more than translation. We work with development teams to handle string files, placeholder syntax, character limits, and right-to-left layout considerations, and we maintain glossaries that keep product terminology consistent across releases. Translation memory carried forward across every project means each new feature, market, or product line ships faster and costs less to localise than the last.

Here's how a typical translation moves from brief to delivery.

We don't run every translation project through the same pipeline. The scope, the quality assurance process, and the service level are all shaped by what you're translating, who it's for, and what's at stake.

A multilingual public health campaign and a translated community service guide don't need the same workflow.

Translation clients frequently ask

What does it mean that LEXIGO is a NAATI Endorsed Agency?

NAATI endorsement means LEXIGO has been formally assessed and recognised by the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters as meeting the Australian Government's standards for language service providers.

The endorsement model was authorised by all Australian state, territory and federal governments and commenced on 24 February 2026.

Endorsed providers must engage NAATI-certified practitioners wherever possible, agree to the LSP Code of Conduct, and report service data to NAATI every three months.

How do you handle large multilingual projects or campaigns?

We assign multiple levels of senior project personnel who coordinate across all language pairs, project teams, manage translator teams, maintain terminology consistency, and provides a single point of accountability. For all projects and campaigns across 10, 20, or 30+ languages, we use LEXIGO OS to manage workflows, translation memory, and quality assurance at scale.

Are you on government panels?

Yes. We work with 50+ Australian government clients across federal, state, and local government. We're structured to meet government procurement requirements including ISO certification, information security compliance, and insurance coverage. Contact us for details on specific panel appointments.

How do you ensure consistency across languages?

Translation memory stores every sentence we've translated for your organisation. When similar content appears in future projects, the system surfaces the approved translation, reducing cost and ensuring your terminology stays consistent. We also build client-specific glossaries and style guides that every translator on your account follows. Our technology platform allows our translators to translate faster and more accurately.

What's your turnaround for government and enterprise projects?

Most projects are completed within 5 to 10 business days depending on scope and language count. Urgent turnarounds are available. For ongoing projects and requirements, we agree service levels upfront and report against them.

How do you handle confidential and sensitive content?

Confidentiality is built into how we operate, not bolted on. We hold ISO 27001 certification for information security management, which means our processes, systems, and data handling are independently audited against international standards. Every translator on your project signs a confidentiality agreement before they see your content. Files are transferred through secure channels, and all data is hosted in Australian data centres. We work with sensitive government briefs, protected health information, legal proceedings, and financial disclosures every day. If your organisation has specific security requirements beyond our standard protocols, we're set up to accommodate them.

Can you integrate with our systems?

LEXIGO OS supports API integration with major CMS platforms, project management tools, and content systems. For organisations that need translation embedded in their digital workflows, we provide direct integration rather than email-based file exchange.

What's the difference between translation and transcreation?

Translation converts your content accurately from one language to another. Transcreation adapts the message for cultural resonance, adjusting tone, imagery references, and cultural context so the communication lands with the same impact in the target community. We offer both, and advise which approach suits each piece of content.
