COVID-19 business continuity update

My thoughts are with those impacted by the illness directly, and indirectly by the necessary social distancing measures. We are eternally grateful to the healthcare workers, teachers and other essential service providers who give our communities vital amenities.

This update outlines how LEXIGO is continuing to provide its services and how we are responding to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Staff, contractors and vendors support

The health and well-being of our team members is of utmost importance. We are in the fortunate position that most of our staff already work remotely, including translators and project success managers. Therefore, it is business as usual at LEXIGO.
 
A portion of LEXIGO contractors are placed on-site at various client locations across Australia. To ensure their health and well-being, we have taken steps to either cancel, postpone, arrange remote working or adjust these placements to meet social distancing requirements until further notice.

Business continuity and uptime for clients

Unfortunately, the most vulnerable members of our community are the most impacted during these unprecedented difficulties. We mustn’t forget about the 820,000 Australians who, in the 2016 census, reported they speak English ‘not well’ or ‘not at all’.
The LEXIGO team and I are committed to continuing to provide you with high-quality translation and multicultural communication services, to help you stay connected with your diverse audiences during this time.
All our systems are up and running while we maintain business continuity arrangements and deliver on all contractual and service level agreements. We do not anticipate any interruption in services to our technology.
